Well now all prospective buyers can learn all about “the Grove”, including the flooding, from my blog. Until the levy was built, Santa Cruz had several devastating floods as well. It’s not just Felton Grove that has all the history. If I’m remembering correctly, the first Church/Mission in 1800’s SC was washed away and moved to higher ground, to it’s current location, due to all the flooding. But our little area has so much to offer: most homes now elevated, flat, sunny yards, pride of ownership, great soil, walk to town, parks, shopping, bus, coffee houses, etc. Floods, yes, but a lot of real positives help offset the flooding. Heck, I live here! And I LOVE it 🙂
