Felton Grove Auto Camp: 1924

Many thanks to Randall Brown, Felton Historian, for this 1924 Felton Grove Auto Camp ad. It’s one of the best I’ve seen. I’m including in this post several photos to show a taste of life at the Auto Camp, circa 1924. The last photo is courtesy of the Ronnie Trubek Collection.

Felton Grove Playground 1924. The large redwood is the same one you can see today at the Felton Bible Church. That redwood is in many of the old photos of the Auto Camp, Resort and Captain Ed’s Boyland and has helped to identify locations in many of my photos.
