1940 Flood Rescue, Felton Grove

Sentinel Feb. 27, 1940:

Early this morning the water was reported running five feet deep at Felton Grove. Mrs. Cecile Madison and her baby daughter and Miss Harriette De Jarnette of San Francisco had to be rescued from their cabin in a rowboat, manned by Forest Ranger Les Gum, Fred Quistorf and Hamlin Witham.
