1940 Flood Damage In Felton Grove

Summer House Owners Rush To View Damage.

Paradise Park, Gold Gulch and Felton Grove were apparently worst hit of all river bank resorts. H. V. Witham, proprietor of Felton Grove, added a $10,000 estimate to the $25,000 already marked up in Paradise Park. Witham said the loss in his section of the resort, including property which must be abandoned, will reach $3,000. About $7,000 in losses was suffered by private summer places on the grounds.
