Wow, that looks bigger on the inside than the outside. When I was little my Dad would take us kids to his logging way up in B.C. On warm summer nights driving back to S.C. I would see several outside dance floors lit up with Xmas lights. People would be dancing and having a good time. I couldn’t wait until I got old enough to go dance at those places. Although this isn’t outside, it looks fun and brings up those memories. Thanks for sharing.

Carole, thanks for that great little tidbit! I can imagine you as a little girl seeing the outside dance floors all lit up waiting until you were big enough to go dancing. Did you ever go dancing at any of those places when you got older? By the way, “our” whole Dance Hall building is over 3,000 sq. ft. I believe the dance floor and bandstand alone take up about 1800 sq ft. It’s much bigger than it looks from the outside.
